The United Arab Emirates is an example for other countries in the world and is home to over 200 nationalities living in peace and harmony.
I am writing this article to explain why I think the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is so amazing, and why I feel so proud and blessed to live in this beautiful country.
The UAE is home to over 200 nationalities living in peace and harmony. Indeed, Emirati culture is unique, and the UAE provides an opportunity to celebrate diverse festivals such as Eid, Diwali, or Christmas. During the holidays, everyone gets in a festive mood and is busy celebrating different festivals. This is all thanks to the greatness and kindness of our president and the leaders of the UAE.
While international news depicts conflicts based on religion, ethnicity, and politics, Emiratis are really blessed to live in a peaceful and tolerant country. I feel great to say that I am a proud resident of the UAE.
Other nations of the world should learn a lesson from the UAE of how to live in peace and harmony. The generosity displayed by the UAE helps expatriates like myself feel welcome, especially during the holiday season.
We all enjoy every holiday and event in this country without fear because of the government’s strong laws, good security, and freedom. These qualities are signs of a developed country, where the first preference is given to humanity. I am really proud to be a resident of this country.
The UAE is famous for its peace and tolerance and spreads the same all over the world by its actions. The UAE’s peace and tolerance is a testament of its independence in 1971 as a federation of seven emirates, where the founding father, His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, united all the leaders together to form a union.
2018 has been declared the “Year of Zayed,” a year dedicated to the founding father for his achievements and great leadership in bringing this country together. The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan believed that unity and solidarity can only lie in wise leadership.
According to the World Economic Forum, the UAE is said to be the second safest country in the world both for the residents and the tourists visiting the country.
I am very thankful to this nation and its great rulers for their wise governance, and I pray for more success in all its upcoming plans, projects and events.
Finally, as a young environmentalist and top recycler of this country, I am doing my best to protect the environment.
